Lessons are available in 30 minute and 60 minute weekly sessions. For most students, I recommend starting with 30 minute weekly lessons. This gives us lots of time to work on healthy singing, build skills, and have fun exploring new music.As students become more advanced, or if they are preparing for auditions, performances, or more challenging repertoire, a 60 minute lesson may be a better fit to allow for more time working on technique and goals.

Weekly lessons are $35 for 30 minutes or $70 for 60 minutes. Fees are paid through equalized monthly payments from September–June.

There is an annual $35 administration fee per student due at the first lesson. This fee helps cover the cost of printed materials, student binders, and our Winter and Spring Recitals.

Payment can be made by post-dated cheques (dated for the first of each month and made payable to Robyn Ferreira) or by credit card payments processed on the first of each month through the student portal (subject to a 2.9% processing fee).Post-dated cheques for the school year (September–June) or credit card payment setup through the student portal are required before the first lesson in September.

Yes, I do! Online lessons are available through Zoom and are a great option for students who are unable to attend in person. Students will need two devices (one for Zoom and one for music playback), as well as a strong internet connection to ensure the best lesson experience.

If you need to miss a lesson due to illness or an emergency, please let me know the night before or the morning of the scheduled lesson time. I offer up to two make-up lessons per school year for illness or emergencies, and these are scheduled based on availability. Make-up lessons need to be completed by June 30 and cannot be carried over into the following school year.If you need to miss a lesson for another reason, the lesson cannot be rescheduled, but I appreciate knowing ahead of time whenever possible.

If you arrive late, your lesson will still end at the scheduled time. The lesson will not be extended beyond the normal ending time or rescheduled to make up the lost time at a later date

If I am sick but well enough to teach, lessons will be moved online through Zoom to help keep everyone healthy. If I am not well enough to teach online, I will provide a make-up lesson. I will let you know as soon as possible by email and/or text.

Whether you’re brand new to singing or have been singing for years, lessons are tailored to your individual goals, experience, and skill level.For beginners, we focus on building a strong foundation of vocal technique, confidence, and healthy singing habits. More experienced students can continue developing their technique, explore different styles, and prepare for auditions or performances.

I teach a variety of styles, including pop, musical theatre, worship, and jazz. I encourage students to explore music they enjoy and choose songs they are excited to sing, while also helping them build strong and healthy vocal skills.

Absolutely! Students choose the songs they would like to learn, with guidance and support from me. I help students select songs that are a good fit for their voice, skill level, and goals while encouraging them to explore music they enjoy and feel connected to.

Yes! Students have the opportunity to perform in recitals held each December and June. Recitals are a wonderful way to celebrate your progress and share what you’ve learned with family and friends.Students will also receive professional photos and a video recording of their performance.

Lessons run from September through June, with a winter break in December and one week off for Spring Break. When you register for lessons, you are committing to the full lesson year (September–June).

If you’d like to try a few lessons before committing to the full year, or if you’re preparing for an audition or performance, I’m happy to offer a limited number of lessons as my schedule allows.While students typically make the most progress through consistent, regular lessons, a few focused sessions can be a great way to build confidence, refine technique, and prepare for an upcoming performance or audition.

If you need to discontinue lessons, one month’s notice is required. Any unused post-dated cheques will be returned, or your monthly credit card payments will be cancelled once your notice period is complete.

During unsafe weather conditions, such as snow, ice, hail, or other severe weather, students have the option to attend their lesson online via Zoom instead of travelling in person.If you would like to switch to an online lesson, please notify me as soon as possible so that I can send the Zoom link and any necessary instructions before your lesson time.
